I purchased these for my 2016 Specialized Rockhopper along with a WTB rim strip to jack up and Strengthen my tires which are running extra thick schrader valve tubes knocking wood my Mountain Bike has only had 1 measley flat from an unmarked construction dig when i purchased these my bike happened to need some disc break bleeding and a tune up so i installed both items from Modern Bike in my tire before bringing it to the shop to get a tune up and i was only able to test it once in my neighborhood it definitely does not affect performance in any way and would be better than nothing and i look forward to riding with it when i get my bike back from the shop

Pros

No flat tires since installed. Area we ride has prickly pear needles that caused flats often before.

Easy to install.

I have used tire liners for 17 years and 39,000 miles of riding. They are very effective in preventing thorn, glass and gravel punctures to tubes therefore eliminating flats. These were put in my 3 tires of my Catrike.
