used on a 700x40 rear tire and a 700x38 front tire which the tubes fit well have put 742 miles so far on them, I would recommend these tubes because of the fact I'm using these on a gavel bike which to date have not had a flat. A good product for the price.

After more than 500 miles of trouble-free riding on- and off-road with factory-installed standard tubes on our new Cannondale Quick CX2 bikes, I decided my wife and I were pushing our luck and purchased four Q-tubes to "upgrade" to thorn-resistant tubes with removable valve cores. During our first ride after installing the Q-tubes, the front tire on my bike suffered a fast flat (fully deflated in under 5 seconds) with less than two miles of use. The failure was determined to be caused by separation between the rubber and valve stem (I have a picture but couldn't find a way to include it with this review). I contacted Modern Bike about the problem and received outstanding support. We concluded that premature failure was most likely a fluke and a replacement tube was provided free of charge. Unfortunately, my rear tire then went flat after about 25 miles of riding, and that flat was also caused by exactly the same failure mode: The rubber separated from the valve stem. With a 50% failure rate with the exact same failure mode, I completely lost my confidence in the Q-tubes product.

Using these tubes in 26x4.4” fat bike tires for general trail use. I weigh about 200 lbs. I have had no issue with them and highly recommend if you want lighten up rotational weight, but still want to use tubes. Or even just these as a spare versus heavier tube

Spare tubes for Catrike Expedition.

I use this only for a split tube set up on a fat bike. Works great for my application.
