Exactly what I needed for my trike!
Pros
I have used my SportCrafters OverDrive Trike Trainer 3-4 times a week over the last two months. It's small size and portability allow me to train on my trike anywhere my trike will fit, which is currently in my kitchen/dining room area. This product allows me to ride safely and out of the winter elements.
The ability to pull the product out of the box already assembled and ready to go allowed me to be riding within a few minutes of receiving it.
I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone who might not like riding on the road or have enough time to pack up their trike, drive to a bike path or just wants the convenience of training at home.
Cons
As of today, I have no known cons about this product to share. I have had no problems with it as far as operations go. The price might be a bit high for some people, however I feel it is worth the investment with all the benefits it has brought me.
Other Thoughts
I can't say enough positive words to support this product. It allows me to train, exercise, release anxiety and contribute to my overall health and happiness. Thank you for making this product for my trike.

Love my indoor trainer!
Great to use, when allergy season or need indoor work out!

Awesome Trainer !
Pros
Lightweight, Compact, Very easy to use
Cons
None

Indoor "Trike Riding"
Pros
1) Prompt delivery: the box arrive 3 business days after ordering it!
2) Was well packaged. Took longer to unbox it than to set it up.
3) Easy set up and ready to go riding.
Very happy with it. Wish I had gotten it sooner.
Cons
Can't think of any in the month that I have had it.
Other Thoughts
I hesitated on buying it because of price. But had heard great reports from several of my trike friends... so took the plunge. Should have done it sooner!

Trike trainer spin!
Pros
This trainer offers adequate resistance for my current needs.
I have been able to get quite a few hours of use out of it.
Snowfall in our area prevents the alternative of riding the trike up and down the block.
Cons
Occasionally needs to be repositioned if mounting of tricycle is not smooth.
Other Thoughts
This has been a great aid in preparing for and recovering from knee replacement surgery.
Thanks to Modern Bike for sending it my way. Great price, prompt service!

Effective and Efficient
Does exactly what it supposed to - effective and efficient!

Great for my catrike700
Pros
Compact, trivial to set up, provides a good level of effort and simulation of road work.
Cons
Expensive, But no real alternative.
Other Thoughts
I tried using a conventional hub grip wind trainer and it didn't work well, put a lot of stress on the plastic hubs of the wheel lock, I never fit quite right. This fits the bill perfectly.

So very glad I got this!!!
Pros
We have had miserably hot days in the Front Range here near Boulder, resulting in highly polluted, high ozone days. As a result, I've had to trike indoors. This device has been wonderful and I'm so grateful for it.
Other Thoughts
Took a little getting used to in order to get a smooth rhythm going.

Perfect for the heat
Pros
I have a recumbent trike and sad leg muscles. I am not strong enough to ride my bike for miles at a time yet, as where I live is hilly, along with hot. This device allows me to ride my trike in the blessed invention that is AC. (Summers here are 110ºF+) I get to build up stamina and ride my bike indoors while preparing for the fall when I can ride outside. I would recommend this to anyone who can't ride outside or long distances.
Cons
It's a little noisy if you're trying to watch TV, but not awful.
Other Thoughts
This shipped pretty fast from the time I ordered it and was packed very well.

ModernBIKE: Good Vendor!
Pros
Does just what it is promoted to do,... easily.
Cons
Getting my wife to actually use the exerciser.
Other Thoughts
Item was available, received promptly and at competitive price.

Trike Trainer
Pros
I use this trainer with my electric Trike. It has two rear wheels, right one is drive wheel. Front wheel has electric motor. I mounted the trainer on a board. Left wheel is on 4 inch block.
Front wheel on floor with brake on. I use it in garage when raining.
Cons
none

Rollers for recumbent trike
Pros
Lightweight
Very easy setup
Cons
Recumbent trike surges back and forth while using
Surging cannot be overcome or stopped by holding front wheel brakes
Might have less issues if the magnetic roller was in the front instead of the back
Other Thoughts
I have used Stan models of wheel friction drive rollers before which do not have this surging effect of rocking back and forward. this surging effect is very unnatural and feels nothing like riding the trike on Pavement. I think with time it may not bother me as much but right now I don't like it as much as my stand model with regards to using. On the other hand the setup is so easy I find that part very appealing.sort of I love/hate relationship at this moment.

Trike Trainer
Pros
Great for when weather is bad outside.
Cons
??

Great product
Pros
I love my Trike Trainer. It's great for cold, rainy winter days. Very easy to set up, no assembly required. I parked it in my craft area in the garage where I have a TV. I can easily get in 30 minutes while I watch the evening news or Jeopardy.
Cons
None I can think of.

Works ok.
Used it several time and caused my tires to go flat. I think that ant puncher vine or other material that would cause a flat is magnified because of the pressure put in such small area. Advise make sure you tires do not have any of this material in the tire beforehand.

Keep riding regardless of weather
Pros
Love that I can ride during the long winter months. Lightweight, so very easy to move where ever you want it.
Cons
Could use a little more resistance, but I still get a nice workout.

Great for Rainy Cold Days
Pros
Super easy to set up and get training on bad weather days. Very compact unit. The resistance on the overdrive unit provides a good workout.
Shipping was very quick. Modern Bike is a pleasure to purchase products from.
Cons
Hard to decide which model to purchase (i.e. the overdrive model or the double overdrive model) just by looking at the data curves provided.
Other Thoughts
The availability of a second overdrive roller to up grade the unit for more resistance would be an advantage.

Great Trike Indoor Exercise
Pros
Does the job. Let's me spend a half hour a day pedaling to keep up my leg and knee muscles while watching Star Trek and providing a place to store my trike in the winter. Just seeing it there makes me happy. Working the gears lets me increase or decrease the effort required and it allows for comfortable continuous pedaling.
Cons
No breeze. Other than that, it's fine.
Other Thoughts
Adding a fan would be nice.

Well built indoor trainer for trike
Pros
This unit is sturdy and the wheels roll very smoothly. The weight is good to keep it held in place. It can be reversed to increase resistance.
Cons
It's a little loud due to tire noise.
Other Thoughts
I'm not an athlete, but If I had the chance to buy it again I would buy the Pro version for more resistance. I'm maxed out on resistance after 2 months in my highest gear. In my opinion, the indoor trainer is a lot easier than riding outside. If you can ride at least 20 miles at an average speed of 16mph, get the Pro version.

Well Built Trainer
Pros
Very sturdy. Just the right resistance.
Cons
Resistance is not adjustable. Not that big a deal since I can change my gearing.
Other Thoughts
I enjoy using the trainer and ride my trike in the garage every day.

Catrike rollers
Pros
Nice piece of equipment. Solid and well built
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
Helps beat the mid winter blues

Training is a snap!
Pros
Looking for a training device that is simple, well-constructed and ready for use. I have the trainer set up with my recumbent bike and I use it 4 days weekly. The product arrived promptly. The only set-up was putting under the rear drive wheel of my recumbent bike. Voila! Ready to go!
Cons
None

Rolling Along
Pros
I have really enjoyed using this trike trainer. Able to adjust the drag on the rear wheel by shifting speeds on the trike to change wheel speed. Takes up very little space in my living room. Just like riding outside with no cold tempertures in the winter and no wind with which to contend. Very well built.
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
I get to ride my trike in all kinds of weather. If nice, I go outside and ride 12 miles and if bad weather ride for an hour inside while watching TV.

Excellent quality, craftmanship is superb.
Pros
Well machined and a perfect product. I don't think you could find a better quality, well made product.
Cons
None.
Other Thoughts
I highly recommend this trainer. exceptional.

Works well for me
Pros
Easy to use
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
I wanted a way to exercise during rainy and/or cold days when I can't ride my trike outdoors. I now have the ability to ride indoors while watching YouTube videos. The time passes very quickly, and I get my exercise. At a higher resistance, the ride is more intense than outdoors because there isn't any coasting.

Well made, performs as described, shift gears & tension changes, etc
Pros
As I said above operates as described, instructions are minimal but adequate.
Cons
None known
Other Thoughts
I have found that riding indoors is not very satisfying for me. Living in the AZ desert makes outdoor activities challenging from mid July to mid Sept. however, this year has been much worse w/the pandemic.

Sportcrafters works great
Pros
Very stable & steady! As advertised very quiet & Smooth! Worth the price!
Better than a treadmill!
Cons
None so far!
Other Thoughts
It’s light but sturdy; easy to set up & use!

Very useful
Pros
Well made product. Lightweight. Have had trike for 4 yrs. Bought this unit to use for rehab after total knee replacement which was done 3 weeks ago.
Cons
None

Sports crafts Trike Trainer
Pros
Was packaged completely assembled. Just decide how much resistance you want and turn in the proper direction.
Cons
None

Always Ready to Cycle
Pros
Simple but durable design; excellent build quality; well matched to real world resistances with respect to speed.
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
I live in Northeast Ohio and use the SportCrafter Trike Trainer to keep my legs moving when the weather doesn’t cooperate. I added a quality speed and cadence sensor to my trike and ride 11 miles every other day. I have definitely seen a marked improvement in my endurance and cadence. This improvement translates to a much more enjoyable experience when I’m out on the actual trails!!
Another great feature is the ability to simply turn it around and have a simple roller. I use this for trike chain maintenance and “tune-ups”.

Great service
Pros
Easy to use
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
Quick shipping and excellent product

Love It
Pros
I have ridden 1145 miles with the trainer in 3.5 months. Works great.
Cons
No cons.
Other Thoughts
If you can't ride outside this is the next best thing.

Great product
I don’t normally write reviews but I really enjoy the rollers it works perfect with my trike

Overdrive Trike Trainer for Recumbent
Pros
Lightweight, simple to use.
Cons
Alignment with the trike wheel is important.

Great Trainer for Tadpole trike
Pros
Riding my Catrike Expedition indoors for winter months, easy setup with no mounting to rear axle like most trainers. Fairly quiet at 10 to 12 mile rpms cadence so can listen to music or watch TV comfortably.
Cons
No complaints from me at this time.

Great trainer for my Velotechnik Gekko
Pros
Marked clearly to choose the resistance you want.
Quiet
Smooth
Cons
None and I have been using it for the past two months.

Great trainer!
Pros
Indiana got a fair amount of ice this winter so a friend suggested an indoor trainer. I didn't realize how easy it would be to use one. This model is very sturdy and I feel very secure on it. Lets me maintain some conditioning over the winter when I can't ride outside.
Very pleased with this and would recommend it to friends.
Other Thoughts
Modern Bike is the place I check first for anything I need or want. Very fast shipping and items are well packed.

Best tool for post-surgery
Pros
Had an extensive knee surgery scheduled; it will be weeks/months before I can ride out on the trail. Purchased this to use once the doctor allowed stationary bike use. Works exactly as advertised, Pull it out of packaging & place behind rear wheel: too simple.
Cons
None.

Sportcrafters overdrive trainer

What to do when they don't plow bike lanes
Pros
These rollers provide reasonable graded resistance with requiring any attachment hardware. It is easy to drop the rear wheel on the rollers, put the front wheels on the blocks and work out. The price is extremely reasonable, they are compact (stores easily), is light weight and sturdy. I had the fan resistant version of these rollers and the fan was flimsy and the fan-blades broke. This version has no belt or fan blades and is therefore about 30% shorter.
Cons
One will likely be more comfortable with the front wheels raised on some trainer blocks (must be purchased or made separately).
Other Thoughts
I find that training indoors is much less enjoyable than bundling up and riding outside in the cold or rain; however, when there are dangerous road conditions, this is a great alternative.

Trainer for my trike
Pros
Works very well with my Catrike with 20 inch wheels. I especially love the ability to change the resistance/effort simply by gearing up or down on my trike. Has given me the opportunity to stay in shape during the Indiana winter.
Nicely designed, high quality, very functional.
Cons
None. I just wish I would have bought it sooner.
Other Thoughts
Suggest you sell as an 'accessory' direct from Catrike as they did recommend the overdrive trainer when I made my email inquiry.

Not as easy as you think
Pros
No assembly required
Smooth resistance changes
Lightweight and small
Can turn the unit around for progressive resistance
Does not damage the trike as your trike only rests on the rollers
Cons
Makes more noise than my CyclOps trainer even at low speeds.
Trike surges while riding and it's not due to pedal strokes alone as it still oscillates in the rollers (forward/backward) even when coasting.
You will need something under the front tires if you want to maintain your normal riding profile.
Other Thoughts
I have considered some type of hold down device to prevent the oscillations while riding. Holding the front brake seems to help a lot.
