Online email correspondence is quick with the staff

The part was not compatible with 2008 SRAM Force Shifter (The one with the silver paddles)

The staff member who was helping me over email tried his best to determine if the shifter would be compatible based on the pictures I sent to him, and had his doubts, but I went ahead and ordered just to see - it was a gamble that would have paid off if it worked out.
Unfortunately it didn't quite fit. The 3 stars are for the willingness of the staff to assist with finding me a solution; the 2 missing stars are from the lack of compatibility information on SRAMs behalf.

Pros

Perfect fit, the product itself is a direct replacement and it comes with all new hardware so you're not reusing c-clips.
It is a little difficult to install for a newby or someone with gigantic clown hands like myself.

Cons

A bit pricy for a shifter paddle but it's carbon. So you're paying the carbon tax.

Wish I didn't need a replacement in the first place.

Other Thoughts

These were exact replacements for the hoods that came on my Force 1 shifters. Force 1/Force 22 doesn't matter. I think there may be some model year or # of gears compatibility issues so be sure to find out if you need the textured hoods or (I think older) non-textured hoods. But these went on like a breeze.

Pros

It only took about 5 minutes to replace my broken shift lever.

Cons

It was a pretty expensive part that I do not think should have broken in the first place.
