Great little pump
Pros
Size, flexible hose, gauge, clever packaging design
Cons
Like any small pump it takes a lot of pumping to inflate a tire.
Other Thoughts
I bought this primarily to avoid having to haul my floor pump along on extended trips. Works ideal for that with the benefit of having one along on a ride.
Great pump
Pros
Well designed and so not so frustrating to use as other hand pumps
Cons
Plan where you will carry it to keep gunk out of it
Topeak Road Morph
Pros
I know when I purchase a Topeak item I am receiving a durable
product. I did experience a flat while on a ride on my road bike. Soon
my tire was inflated at 90 lbs, and I completed my ride! The pump
also features a gauge which indicates the actual air pressure. The
actual inflation was a smooth and easy. Pumping up my 700 x 25
road did not require the strength of Hercules!
Cons
no cons to report at this time.
Other Thoughts
Topeak is also very easy to work with when seeking information regarding possible issues, etc.
A frame pump that works
Pros
A frame pump that can inflate a road tire to over 100lbs (that will get you home), higher pressure if you work at it. I got one of these over a year ago because of an unfortunate experience with a C02 inflater (failed) and hitched 20 miles to where my vehicle was parked. Easy to shift from presta to shrader, and it has a small but useful guage. Foot pad and fold out handle make pumping easier. Life saver.
Cons
It's a frame pump, not a "cool" look on a road bike for some. It can be a little fiddley when in use, hence 4 stars.
Other Thoughts
This is a review in response to the purchase of a 2nd Road Morph Pump for my wife. She had a slow leak, front tire, and I was (as usual) far up the road. Used my pump when I found her waiting with more patience than I would have shown on the side of the road. She decided she needed one of these as well.
topeak road morph g pump
good
Great pump
Pros
After years of ownership it still works great
Gauge
Cons
Mounting bracket takes up a set of water bottle bosses
Great Touring Pump
Pros
Had this pump over three years with no issues. While I don't get many flats, when the time comes it makes quick work of pumping the tire. The long hose is a plus along with the built in pressure gauge gives you the peace of mind that your tires are properly filled and your not looking for a gas station to get them fully filled.
Cons
The handle while adequate could be a bit sturdier.
Small pump with lots of features.
Pros
Small
Easy to use
Pressure gauge
Durable
Presta or Schrader
Foot peg
Cons
None
Other Thoughts
This is the best frame pump I've ever owned. It has lots of handy features and has worked really well for me. I really like the way everything folds or tucks away to make it small when not in use, but large enough to do some good when it's opened up and in use. The pressure gauge is a nice touch, as is the small foot peg to help hold it on the ground, and the fold-out handle that enables you to put more umph in your pumping. It's also fast and easy to switch between Presta and Schrader modes. This pump has helped me greatly with several flats over the years.
Topeak Road Morph G Pump
Needed second pump for additional bikes. Have used this pump for 5 years with no problems. In line pressure gauge is great feature. Great for taking on road. Highly recommend if you are not a fan of cartridges.
Quick Delivery / Item Exactly As Described
Great pump!
Pros
Fairly compact
Inline gauge appears to be pretty accurate
T handle and foot support allow for easy pumping to 110 PSI
Cons
The mount that comes with it is pretty poor. The mount itself is fine, but the furnished zip ties don't allow for enough tightening to keep the pump from slipping around on the frame. If you don't use the zip tie method of attachment and opt to mount it where you'd normally put a bottle cage, you'll lose a spot to carry a water bottle.
