The derailleur hanger fits well. I put it on my Trek excaliber, when I decided to upgrade my rear derailleur. I kept the old derailleur hanger as a spare (always good to have one laying around). I haven't gotten to ride yet with it on bc it's cold and we have snow here in PA right now but trust I will have no issues.

Pros
Old hanger was getting a little tired and was slightly bent. Replacing with a fresh one cleans up the shifting and makes my bike feel new again. I know you can carefully straighten them but I have broken one before and now just prefer to replace them periodically.

This particular hanger is NOT a plug and play for my particular bike.

Better than the twisted and cracked hanger I took off.

This particular item did not come close to fitting the dropout.

This hanger was supposed to fit a Kona Zing Deluxe.
The fit was "close" but close is not good enough with an item like this. I subsequently spent a couple of hours with hand files removing material in order to get the two bolts to match up. I should have returned it immediately, but I needed that bike for a ride the next morning and was thus left with only one choice, making the part fit.
I've ridden hundreds of miles with it since, and it is working fine, but I'll know better the next time.
I've subsequently purchased the correct product from Kona, which is an exact match, and I've purchased correct replacements for my other two carbon bikes to make sure I don't have to HOPE that these generic hangers MIGHT work in the event that I should ever need to fit a replacement.

The original hanger on my Mercxk 525 came loose just enough to cause Di2 shifting issues. even with the wheel QR clamping both hanger and frame, it was able to flex. When I attempted to tighten, the thread stripped out on one hole.

Pros
I own this as insurance in case I bend my current hanger. Owning a low volume production bike, I don't expect to find one every place I travel to, so slip one in my luggage and have that issue covered.
