Great wide ergonomic bars for you gravel as well as touring/bikepacking bike

Pros
People are kinda stupid about handlebars. They go for looks rather than functionality so these bars may not be for you. The width of the hoods is really what sold me on them. They put your arms to a good ergonomic and stable position as do the flares when you are in the drops. Would love the exact same design in a super strong extra reinforced carbon bar. I also use them on one of my mountain bike builds for a gravel/cross country bike for mostly road but can handle gnarly trails if necessary. Here in Colorado, most are.

Excellent gravel bar

Pros
This is an excellent handlebar for gravel bikes. I have also owned the 46cm wide Venturemax, which is not a bad width, but the Venturemax XL at 52cm is better. I mainly ride mtn bikes, and have 720-750mm width bars on them, so am used to the superior control of wider bars. For those of you who are wondering, a 52cm wide gravel bar really isn't that wide. The tops are flattened on the Venturemax XL Comp (but not on the regular Venturemax Comp), which provides a really good resting position where you thumbs can rest on top of the bars. The drop on these bars is the shallowest of any bars I've ever seen, so you can ride comfortably in the drops, even when you're bombing down the trail.
