I bought the 100mm Salsa Guide to replace an 80mm that came stock on a 2016 Salsa Vaya. I needed the longer stem to compensate for the flat bar conversion. I wanted to keep Salsa parts on it to look "stock". I wasn't looking for high performance or light weight, just a good functional stem that worked and looked the part.
