Cam mechanism exposed to the hazards of dirt and mud.
Other Thoughts
I purchased both the front and rear Salasa skewers. The fit and finish is second to none. Very attractive and functions well. I am especially impressed with the stainless parts and the machining. However, the cam mechanism looks like delrin--thge only plastic part---exposed and vulnerable to grit which could lead to excessive wear. Just keep them out of the mud.
