Pros
These provide adequate protection, are inconspicuous and don't slide down...yet. They are held on by elastic so we'll see how well it holds up over time, kind of like socks. I bought Large but I'd recommend going smaller if you are on the fence.
Cons
Elastic will eventually wear out over time and cause them to slide down.
Other Thoughts
I bought these after buying Pro-X G-form shin/knee guards that were useless due to sliding down. These are WAY better.

Pros
So Light weight you don't even know you are wearing them. You can wear them under your pants easily. Very durable. Never got a shinner and I've hit my shins pretty hard. Stays in place.
Cons
No protection on the back of leg. Legs will sweat more in hot conditions.
Other Thoughts
I wear these shin guards for skateboarding and they are the best on the market. I've tried other shin guards that don't really work and move around a lot.
