Pros
- the internal dimension of the rim is 25 mm
- the spoke tension is appropriate and the tension balance is excellent
- the tubeless rim profile allowed for very easy tubeless inflation
- hub comes with a Shimano quick-release
- the wheel price is very good
Cons
- while the Deore hub is serviceable and a very good value, it isn't going to last as long as other hubs when faced with the rigors of loaded touring
- the rim was slightly out of true which I easily fixed
Other Thoughts
I use this wheel on a Surly LHT for grocery shopping/commuting and long-distance touring.
