It is a must have... If you don't have extras, your screwed.Before buying a Sun Baja Trike with 24x3.5 tires, my old bike or trike used 26x4 inch tubes, that is not an easy size tube to find locally. For my Baja Trike, I couldn't locate anyone selling 24x3.5 tubes or tires in my town, even the bike shop where I purchased my two Baja trikes didn't stock them! When I ride, I have a stop leaks in my tubes, I have tire liners and I carry an extra tube and patch kit. My record was 3 flats in one week and I was riding on the bike path and not off road, it is best to be prepared especially when away from home. Pushing a 50-pound trike with a flat isn't fun.
The tube is pretty much like most other tubes, I just wish they would make them a little thicker. It is always the tiny little thorns that give me flats in my area.
Leaks happen, be prepared.
Happy to find during covid!Had a flat on my bike and took it to my bike shop for repair and they couldn’t find this tube at any of their suppliers. I searched the web and found my tube here. It shipped really quickly and I was back on my bike in no time!
