Terrible Basket for front of bike

Pros
Pros would be that this would perform fine on the back of a bike.
Cons
It is a terrible design for the front of a bike because after attaching it, it still slid down and around handle bars. I took it back off and tried putting inner tube rubber around handlebars and reattaching and that did not work. I then tried to mold a piece of oak to hold the basket up and found after a couple of hours of fiddling it was not worth the bother. By then I had put a couple of minor scratches on the carrier so the seller would not take it back so I am now trying to resell it. But I will not sell it to anyone that wants to use it on the front of the bike.
Other Thoughts
This is the second time I have written a review like this, just want people to know I have no problems with Modern Bike, they tried to help, but I assume they would not take back a slightly damaged product, because of all the effort into trying to install the basket and I had already gotten rid of the original box. I am still waiting to sell the basket 3 months later.........
