Pros
Bright plating shows off how clean a waxed chain always is. Factory petroleum lube was very light and thin - this was beneficial to ease of stripping and prep for immersion waxing.
Cons
This 11speed chain was 0.003” (0.08mm) wider than the original chain. The extreme chain angles of 1x drive trains are sensitive to extra chain width and chain can rub next inboard cog when in 11th, 10th, or 9th gear. It’s very slight. I installed this on a friend’s bike and don’t expect her to run 9th-11th very often.
Other Thoughts
Not many miles yet to judge durability. I expect it to be fine for a 120 pound recreational rider.
