Hi - I was looking for something different for my Kona Dr Dew build. Recently I've seen many on Youtube building "klunker bikes" from old 50-60's Schwinn type single-speed frames and using a BMX-style handle bars--I was all in. I looked around and landed on the Surly Sunrise Handlebar, and it's been a great choice. It's chromoly steel (like my Kona frame), comfortable, handles well, strong, capable, and makes the Dr Dew look cool... :) Kind-of a retro vintage vibe in a carbon-fiber driven bike culture. I highly recommend them.

Other Thoughts
More comfortable than the straight piece of pipe that was on the Karate Monkey when I bought it .
