Spyre SLC brake calipers utilize two piston movement for evenly applied rotor contact, resulting in optimum braking power and modulation. The SLC version includes a upgraded carbon actuation arm for maximum rigidity and weight savings.

- Works with ALL cable actuated road levers. Compressionless (linear strand) housing is highly recommended
- Mounting hardware, rotors and adaptors sold separately
- TRP ultra-grippy semi-metallic pads. These are compatible with Shimano M525/M515 pads

Pros
These are inexpensive, light, adjustable, and non-corrosive. Pads are enclosed in cover to keep fluids and dirt out. Modern Bike is reliable and ships fast.

Great stopping power with 160mm rotor. Easy to set up.
Work great with Drop Bar Levers + Cross Levers

I combined these with Microshift Drop Bar Brake/Shifter levers plus a set of Tektro RL Cross Brake Levers (inline brake levers). Together with good compression less cable housing, the brake performance is very good.
I'm using these on a custom touring bike build and I get great stopping power.
