"WTB was founded in Marin County, California in 1982, fueled by the need to create durable and reliable mountain bike-specific equipment. Back then mountain biking was a new and burgeoning sport, and mountain bikes weren't much more than cobbled-together oddities. The original WTB crew was captivated by the experience of riding bikes on dirt trails, and they started creating more durable and functional components for their own bikes. Soon, local frame builders sought to outfit their bikes with WTB's high-end components. WTB was able to turn our passion for bikes into a successful business."

All production takes place exclusively within Campagnolo's own plants, so that product development can be a fully integrated part of the process. Every step in the process, from design and engineering to testing and industrialisation, takes place within Campagnolo facilities. Campagnolo even develops its own tools, machinery and technology so that it can produce only the very best components and wheels for racing bicycles."
"Pinhead's mission is to improve cycling security and safety with high-quality locks that protect the bike and provide a safer ride."

"W-T-P have always taken a lot of pride in ourselves and in building bikes that are capable of taking everything a rider throws at them. We are constantly at the forefront of developing and manufacturing materials that will with stand hard and furious riding and our designs are made to combat common breaks and bends."
It's true. Our goal has never been to be the lightest. If it was, we would be. Plain and simple. We've been making wheels for the bicycle industry longer than most and we've seen technologies come and go.
However, there are a few timeless qualities that we have stuck to: 1. Durability is king. Regardless of crazy material cocktails or ingenious construction methods--if it leaves you walking off the trail, all the so-called technology is pointless. 2. Make it easy. Our tubeless set-ups are a breeze and considered industry best. 3. Make it perform. Whether it's race day or an afternoon shred, we want riders to be confident that their hoops are capable. 4. Go back to number one. Durable, lightweight, easy to set up with performance that rivals everything out there.

Wireless Speed allows a sensor to transmit the bicycles speed without a cable to the computer.
Wireless Cadence allows a sensor to transmit the bicycles cadence (also known as RPM) without a cable to the computer.
Heart Rate Monitoring allows a sensor, often a chest strap, to transmit your heart rate to your computer. Heart rates monitors are typically wireless.
Some computers come with built-in altimeters, which will display the current altitude. GPS enabled computers can often do this more accurately.
GPS, or Global Positioning System, is a satellite based system that provides accurate location and altitude information.
Temperature monitoring allows for a computer to tell you the current temperature.
Computer Color
Some computers have sensors that mount to the rear wheel instead of the front, making them suitable for use with indoor trainers.
Some cycling computers can display a power reading, usually in watts. They usually require a separate sensor - in some cases a special hub or crank arm. A few will estimate the value based on speed, cadence, rider weight or other data. "Optional" means it can read from a separate power meter or sensor. "Included" means it is calculated by the computer or includes the neccessary sensor.

Trainer resistance is available in fluid, wind, magnetic and electronic. Magnetic trainers are most common and have fixed levels of resistance. Fluid trainers have progressive levels of resistance; the harder you pedal, the more resistance they provide. Wind trainers tend to be very noisy, as they generate their resistance from a fan. Electronic trainers require a power source and can often provide the most powerful and precise levels of resistance. They sometimes can include virtual reality interfaces for a more interactive experience.
Smart trainers have sensors which will transmit speed, cadence or power to smart phones, tablets or other devices. This allows you to use your trainer with popular software packages like Zwift, Rouvy, Trainer Road, Strava, the Sufferfest and more.
Interactive Smart trainers have sensors which will transmit speed, cadence or power to smart phones, tablets or other devices. Not only that, but the communication is two-way, which allows special software packages to control the resistance levels on the trainer for an immersive experience. This allows you to use your trainer with popular software packages like Zwift, Rouvy, Trainer Road, Strava, the Sufferfest and more.
