It easily holds 300 lbs!!
And yes, I would know, because I'm 310 lbs..
It is strong, and fits almost all seats, the only exception would be specialized, or custom seats made to fit to a particular brand of post.
All in all, this steel post is definitely great!!
I ended up having to bend it myself, because i wanted to have a steel bent post.. I had to beat it with a steel hammer for about 13 min, as hard as i could. Now, that's not the bad part. Because it didn't affect the structural integrity of the post AT ALL, but it hurt like a bi+€# afterwards....basically I'm just whining, this post was literally perfect!!!,
If i get another bike, im definitely getting this post,!!
